Secrets of the Mountain

Secrets of the Mountain is the first in a series of family-friendly movies produced as part of Walmart and P&G’s Family Moments initiative. The companies created this programming to fill the advertising gap in meaningful entertainment for the entire family.

Working closely with the producers of the film, 1K Studios had the opportunity to deploy our integrated services model as a coordinated means to provide all of the essential functions in the home video production process. This complete workflow overhaul gives producers/clients a cost-effective and streamlined solution to the complicated multi-silo service model of DVD and Blu-ray production.

For Secrets of the Mountain, 1K was responsible for asset management, creating SD and BD-J menu design, menu animation, compression and authoring services, BD-J programming, all of which was subjected to the rigors of an iterative quality control matrix constructed to ensure optimal, mistake-free results thereby guaranteeing timely delivery of materials, assets, and masters.
