Recently, company co-founder Matt Kennedy spoke at the 3D Focus Conference to a group of industry professionals and content producers entering the 3D production business. Two of the diagrams from our presentation, shown here above and below, cover basic 3D terminology and production workflow.

1K ramped up 3D production over the Summer with new work including full 3D post-production for an upcoming Blue Man Group project.

With several new 3D Blu-ray projects in production, and a slew of demos and experiments designed to test the boundaries of the home 3D experience, we’re well prepared to serve our client/partner base in 3D production — from information architecture to content production.

Demand for 3D production is very high, with scarce qualified talent available. Our partners throughout the industry are sharing information, in order to ramp up. Our 3D Focus presentation was gathered from our own learning and at least six other sources.
